WHO WE ARE

Sisters Stella and Emma grew up in Aspen, Colorado, where gathering around the table was a daily ritual. Emma fell in love with cooking and hosting while Stella found joy in elevating the every day.

Rooted in Aspen’s spirit of hospitality and adventure, the sisters were inspired by their surroundings, family and travels to focus on event curation. MAE & MAR is a reflection of Stella & Emma’s shared values that allow them to make every event feel both effortless and unforgettable.

  • Stella planned our daughter’s recent Bat Mitzvah in Snowmass Village. Every detail was carefully thought out for the beautiful Friday night service, amazing Saturday evening celebration as well as the Sunday morning brunch. Stella is resourceful and has many contacts in the Valley. She is in the “know” and thus very relatable with the teenagers. It was entirely because of Stella that our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah was such a magical weekend.

  • Planning a wedding is no small feat, usually planned well in advance, however this was not the case with our wedding. Stella and her team took on the challenge of a 4-month deadline with so much joy, and made the process fun and exciting.

  • Stella was the perfect partner to help us realize our vision, and came to the table with creative solutions and unique details to incorporate, which made our wedding feel timeless and personal

  • Stella’s calm presence at every meeting gave us the confidence and reassurance that that she had every detail - small or large - organized and on-track. It says a lot to be able to call her at any point and ask her about an obscure detail that she had complete knowledge of and could speak to.

  • We are so grateful to the Stella Style Events team and Stella’s remarkable leadership, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing about our magical NYC wedding.

  • Stella is a tireless worker, responsive, professional and maintains a calm and patient demeanor, which was critical for our event that happened to be during the first September snow storm of the year.
